Friday, November 7 is now Day 1 of the conference for everyone! Attend general programming sessions or one of our focused learning sessions and symposia, including:
- Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Medical Society (HCMS) – The Society is co-locating its annual meeting to be part of #AHA25 for the first time! This one-day program is the annual symposium of the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Medical Society. HCMS exists to bring together an innovative and productive community of physicians, scientists and medical providers dedicated to improving the diagnosis and treatment of people with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy through clinical excellence, research and education.
- Cardiovascular-Kidney-Metabolic Certificate Program – This half-day program will provide foundational educational content for clinicians seeking to optimize approaches to CKM syndrome care. The format of the course will be to provide practical lectures regarding the science and clinical management of CKM syndrome, complemented by interactive, case-based practicum sessions to inform application of management principles in clinical practice.
- Get With The Guidelines® Data Bootcamp – Attend this bootcamp to be eligible to submit an upcoming AHA grant proposal using Get With The Guidelines (GWTG) data with a deadline following Scientific Sessions. The AHA's GWTG data includes more than 14 million patient records across 5 programs. Researchers must use the Precision Medicine Platform to access and analyze this data. This requires coding experience in R, Python, or SAS or bringing a researcher that has these skills. Each person must register separately. There will be 1-2 pre-requisite virtual meetings prior to the onsite event in New Orleans.
- Early Career Day – Career and scientific guidance for new professionals. Meet your peers in one of our most popular programs.
- And more! – The International Symposium focuses on global health, while the Genomic and Precision Medicine Symposium explores the genotype-specific treatment strategies for cardiovascular disease. More details are coming soon.
